Ten Project is delighted to announce in partnership with Hollingbury Community Sports Hub, the launch of our FREE Community Family Sessions in Brighton, on Saturday the 25th September from 11am - 12pm at Hollingbury Park Tennis Club. Sessions will then take place every Sunday after that from the 3rd October - 5th December from 10am - 11am.

Ten Project is a brand new initiative aimed at getting families to spend more time together while being active in their local community. In partnership with local boroughs/authorities and community tennis providers, Ten Project’s school and community initiatives offer high quality, fun, game based tennis coaching that involves the whole family.

Ten Project’s FREE parent/child tennis sessions are available to all families in Brighton, meaning any family can register for free and come and enjoy these family fun tennis sessions on a weekly basis.

Ten Project’s CEO and Founder Harry Lloyd explains, “We’re so pleased to be working with Hollingbury Community Sports Hub and bringing Ten Project to Brighton, in particular our FREE Community Family Sessions. What’s great about these sessions is they are for the whole family. Parents and children are on the same court at the same time having fun, learning and playing together in their local community. The sessions are free, all equipment is provided and all abilities are welcome.”

Barry Fulcher, Director, Hollingbury Community Sports Hub said, “We are extremely excited to partner with Ten Project and launch these new FREE community sessions for all of the family at Hollingbury Sports Hub. It’s a great opportunity for parents to jump on court with their kids and get active together. This sort of community programme is perfectly aligned with our vision for growing tennis in the Brighton & Hove community - making tennis courts and high quality coaching more inclusive and accessible to all.”

Fiona Hayes, Chair of Hollingbury Tennis Club went on to say, “We are so pleased to be part of this new project and look forward to welcoming new families onto our courts, recently refurbished with funding provided by The Fred Perry Trust.”

The partnership will also see Ten Project’s School & Community Initiative take place across a number of primary schools in Brighton in 2022. The school initiative provides children aged four - ten with 10 weeks of ‘in school’ tennis coaching which is supplemented with a FREE parent/child session at the weekends on local community tennis courts.

Ten Project’s CEO and Founder Harry Lloyd commented, “Our school initiative brilliantly links primary schools and the children and families that go to them, with their local community venues. We really try and encourage the continued participation from our families. Whether that's through our school and community initiative or our stand alone FREE Community Family Sessions, we hope families will continue to have fun playing tennis.”
